It has been already seven weeks ago since I arrived here and I am still so glad to be living in this city. Kristiansand is a very nice place to live and I already feel at home here.
Last week I went to the Opera house "Kilden" in Kristiansand with María, the other intern, and some Norwegian friends. We went to a classical concert and it was impressive. Also, there was a solo pianist playing and we really enjoyed listening to the music. I will definitely go to another concert here and I will participate in two concerts as well, playing the flute in the Kristiansand Janitsjar Orchestra.
This weekend I went to a karaoke night in Østsia, the student bar, which was a lot of fun, because everyone sang songs of different nationalities. With my German friends we sang Mama Mia from Abba and 99 Luftballons which is a German song. Also, I sang a Spanish song from Enrique Iglesias with my colleague. All in all it was a lot of fun.
On Saturday I went to the birthday party of my flatmate which was a very good party. It was called the "Glitter party" and lots of international students came there.
On Sunday I went on a hike at Jegersberg. Arne Holte organised it and told us a lot about the region, historical facts and information about the flora and fauna which was very interesting. Although I go often to Jegersberg by myself or with friends, I didn't know a lot of things nor did I know this path. So I'm very glad that I went there.
Also, in the last two weeks I was invited to some dinners and house parties, to try Chinese dumplings, Japanese food, and self made wine and beer. Furthermore, I went bowling and of course for some walks in the nature.
